This past month I’ve been re-reading my favourite spiritual book, The Lost Teachings of Atlantis, and it has reminded me of the incredible power not only of our daily affirmations, but also of Mantras. So I had this fantastic idea to make today’s Affirmations blog all about some of the world’s most beautiful spiritual mantras.
Intuitively pick a number between 1 and 9, and see which mantra and Young Living essential oil is choosing you today. Chant this to yourself, as you apply your essential oil.
1. Sat Nam
The ultimate truth is that we are all Divine Beings.
Sat Nam reminds us of this.

2. Om Namah Shivaya
“My salutations to Shiva, the auspicious and gracious one”.
This much-loved mantra connects us to our own Inner Light,
and the qualities of divine love, truth, grace and bliss which are our true nature.

3. Om Mani Padme Hum
“I Bow to the Jewel at the Lotus Flower of the Heart”. In yogic tradition, the lotus flower symbolizes transformation. It shows us that we, too, can emerge from the mud of our illusions, and blossom into the Light of truth as a thousand-petaled lotus.

This mantra reminds us that we are one with the Universe and all of creation.
We are indeed a part of God (the Divine).

6.Yod He Vau He
This ancient name for God carries enormous energy and power.
It is pronounced “Yoad Hay Vah Hay”.
Chanting this Mantra enables our vibration to lift into states of Universal Consciousness.
It reminds us of the divine and unlimited power that is within each of us.

7. Om Shanti, Shanti, Shanti
“I call in Peace to my body, speech and mind”.
This beautiful peace invocation is used in both Buddhist and Hindu traditions.

8. Aham Prema
“I am Divine Love”.
Pronounced ‘Aah-ham-pree-mah’, this Mantra will help you to remain in your spiritual centre.
Use it when you encounter any chaotic or negative energy or thoughts,
and whenever self-doubt crosses your path.

9. Om Gam Ganapataye Namaha
“I call in Ganesha, the remover of obstacles.”
Lord Ganesha is the magnificent Hindu Elephant God.
