Journey to Inner Space

Back in 1996, I did a one year personal development training with Scott Washington. One of the greatest gifts I received in that training was how to transform my life by making a powerful choice – one that will evoke change not only in my own life, but also in the world around me. Scott always likened it to a child looking at a puppy in a pet store window.   “You want to have those same feelings about your choice,” he’d say. “Always word your choice in the positive (ie. as something you do want, not as something you don’t want). And you’ll know you have the right choice when you feel that same excited ecstasy for that...

The Jigsaw Puzzle

For the past 3 months, I’ve been a witness to myself. Like so many of us, I hold a belief that “I am not enough”. That belief formed in my early childhood, where I observed that no matter how much I strived to be perfect in the eyes of my parents, I just never quite made it there.   They would offer me constructive criticism or feedback on how I could do it even better. That’s what I want to explore today…. I’ve spent many years exploring the text and workbook of A Course in Miracles. One of the greatest gifts it’s given me is the awareness that my thoughts and perceptions are often NOT the truth.   When something triggers me...

An Abundance of Abundance

In my last blog, I talked about the two streams of consciousness – everyday life with all its whirlpools and turbulence, and the second stream of consciousness being that state of “flow”.   When we’re in flow, there’s a visible synchronicity around everything that unfolds in our life. We can’t help but marvel at how perfectly doors open and close around us, bringing a heightened sense of effortlessness to our life.   As I explore this for myself, I experience it as a very “yin” space. Less is more. When I stop trying to control every aspect of my life and simply surrender, the things I most need are brought straight to my doorstep. But to be in “flow”...

Affirmations to Inspire

Swami Dayananda Saraswati, was a renowned Indian philosopher whose ideas and actions were revolutionary for their time, making him a revered figure in Indian history. His teachings continue to guide individuals in their spiritual journey today, inspiring them to strive for a better society based on the principles of truth, righteousness, and justice. Intuitively pick a number between 1 and 9, tosee which inspirational saying and Young Livingessential oil or blend is choosing you today: 1. When you practice what is right even though you do not like doing it, and avoid what is wrong, even though you want to do it, you slowly change. Later, you find yourself in a position where what is to be done is what you like to...
