On Sunday, a python was run over about 10 minutes from where I live, and was oozing pink fluid from its tail. Snake tails don’t usually ooze unless they are infected, but close to the tail is the “cloaca” through which they pass faeces and urates. If pink fluid is oozing from this, it’s not a good sign for the snake, and suggests internal injuries. Although I headed straight to the scene, I wasn’t able to find the snake. It may have taken refuge in one of the storm water drains on either side of the road, or been protected from view under thick grasses. In the process of looking for clues that might help me narrow down my search...
Back in the year 2000, something wonderful happened to me. I was invited to go to Dallas on an all-expenses paid trip, to study a new modality called Raindrop Technique with its founder, D. Gary Young (who is also the founder of Young Living Essential Oils).I was one of 1,100 people from all over the world who had flown in for that training, and it was an important turning point in my life, and in my journey with essential oils. At the time I was working as a Bowen Therapist, Psychic and Healer. But I have to say, I was blown away by the results I was having with Raindrop Technique. It took my clients far beyond any of my...
Last month’s affirmations were excerpts from Kahlil Gibran’s The Prophet….did you enjoy them? For this month’s affirmations, I want to bring the focus onto one of those most precious gems in our life….our friends. So here’s how it works…. Intuitively pick a number between 1 and 9, and see which inspired quote is choosing you today. As a special treat, I’ve also included a Young Living oil blend to partner with your quote. Apply the oil to your heart or wrists, and breathe it in. Then read the quote out loud, and reflect on the blessings in your life from your real friends: 1. To the world you are just one person, but to one person you are the world. –...
I wasn’t looking forward to last Monday. There had been something brewing within me that I needed to express to a new friend in business, and I was experiencing a tug of war. When I checked in with my intuition, I knew what my truth was. I knew things weren’t working out. I knew I needed to say something. But at the same time, I wanted to bury my head in the sand and keep the status quo. Whilst the one part of me knew the conversation needed to take place, the other part of me didn’t want to hurt her feelings. And, to be honest, it was also going to leave me in a precarious position in one aspect...
Everyone's first psychic experience is different. Whether it be visions in dreams, extraordinary gut feelings or even simply subconscious knowledge. The depth of that first experience is only one small drop in the ocean of what our psychic ability really is. I was always a deeply feeling child and that depth catered to animals more than any humans I knew. I found solace in animals - they were always there for me in dark times and filled a deeper part of my being, allowing me to be softer and kinder. If an animal was in need, I was there for it. I still remember how panicked I was when a stray cat I’d befriended over many months started crying in...
